Feb 3, 2021

2021 USC Lacrosse Schedule | Pac-12 News Release

LOS ANGELES – The USC lacrosse program announced its 2021 season schedule on Wednesday, Feb. 3. Alongside the Pac-12 Conference's announcement of weekly matchups and site designations, the Women of Troy will play a 16-game schedule, which includes 10 league games and begins with a non-conference match-up at San Diego State on Feb. 13.
The Pac-12's schedule features seven weeks of Conference games between March 12 and April 23 ahead of the 2021 Pac-12 Tournament, which is scheduled for May 5-8 at Stanford's Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
The six Pac-12 teams are scheduled to play a double round-robin format for the 10 league games and were permitted to schedule non-conference competitions for up to the traditional NCAA maximum of 17 total regular-season contests. The announcement reflects home-and-away designations each weekend of the Pac-12 regular season. All game dates and times are subject to change with television details to be announced in the coming weeks.
Outside of the 10-game league schedule, USC will also face San Diego State twice (Feb. 13 and April 9) with the latter at home on McAlister Field. The Trojans head to the East Coast for two games at the end of February. USC will face New Hampshire in Durham, N.H. on Feb. 24; followed by a match-up at Boston College on Feb. 26. USC's first home game will be on March 7 as the Trojans host UC Davis. The Women of Troy will also host former MPSF foe Fresno State at home on March 21.
The 2021 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) preseason poll features three Pac-12 programs with USC ranked No. 13, Stanford at No. 23, and Colorado at No. 24. In the final IWLCA poll of the 2020 season, the Trojans were No. 7 and one of just eight remaining undefeated teams in the country.
The Trojans were undefeated through six games (6-0) and were ranked seventh in the final IWLCA Coaches Poll of the 2020 season; shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. USC had produced a 5-0 record in home games and was 2-0 in the Pac-12. The Trojans' fifth win of the season was the 100th of now ninth-year head coach Lindsey Munday's career. She is 101-42 (.706) all-time with the Women of Troy. Munday's Trojans were the defending Pac-12 regular-season and tournament champion in 2019 and will have a chance to defend those titles in 2021.
All USC women's lacrosse competitions will be conducted in accordance with the Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee health and safety recommendations and guidelines, available at
