BERKELEY – California women's basketball is set to host Colorado on Sunday, Feb. 7 at 1pm PT. The contest will be available to watch via Cal Live Stream and you can listen to the broadcast on KALX.

The Bears are back in action on Sunday after falling to Utah on Friday evening. Entering the fourth quarter trailing by 12, Cal went on an 8-0 run to pull with four points with 6:04 remaining. However, the Utes pulled away in the final minutes, scoring three-consecutive three points while holding the Bears to just four points in the rest of the quarter.

Freshman Mia Mastrov was one of the bright spots for the Bears; in her collegiate debut, she scored 20 points and collected six rebounds and two steals. Her 20 points are the most by any Cal player in their collegiate debut this century. The Lafayette, Calif., native was aided by four threes which proved to be a game-high.

Freshman forward Ugonne (Michelle) Onyiah finished with 10 points, nine rebounds, two blocks and two steals in Friday's contest. Onyiah has scored in double figures in the last three games and in five of the last six since moving into the starting lineup. During that stretch, she is averaging 10.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, leading the team in all three categories during that time.

When the Bears last took on the Buffs on Jan. 15, the team tallied a season-high 10 triples while three players set career-highs for number of 3-pointers in a game: sophomore guard Leilani McIntosh (four), freshman guard Ornela Muca (three) and junior guard Sierra Richey (two).

SCOUTING THE BUFFS
Colorado is coming off of a narrow loss at Stanford on Friday as they fell to the Cardinal 62-54. After defeating Stanford in their first matchup of the season, the Buffs nearly pulled off another upset, outscoring the Cardinal 28-13 in the fourth quarter. However, their comeback bid ultimately fell eight points short.

Senior forward Mya Hollingshed led the team with 16 points and six rebounds in the effort against Stanford and she leads the team overall in both average scoring (16.7 points) and rebounding (8.7 rebounds) this season. Freshman guard Frida Formann has also been a force for the Buffs, earning Pac-12 Freshman of the Week on Jan. 18 after scoring 15 points in the team's upset over Stanford. The same week, she also scored 19 points against Cal, going 5-for-8 from three.
