STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford men's swimming and diving took down Pacific 171-66, Saturday at Avery Aquatic Center. Cardinal swimmers swam 10 NCAA provisional standards, posting victories in all 14 events, in what was the first scored-meet for the program since last year's conference championships.

Prior to the meet, Stanford honored the program's six graduating seniors: Grant Shoults, True Sweetser, Matthew Hirschberger, Jordan Greenberg, Alex Liang, Johannes Calloni. Shoults was victorious in the 500 freestyle, swimming a B standard of 4:15.74. Liang was victorious in the 200 IM (1:47.04) and the 200 fly (1:42.86) -- the latter being a B standard.

Cardinal freshmen posted strong debuts, accounting for half of the team's 10 B standards. Jonathan Affeld hit B standards in the 100 fly (46.62) and 200 fly (1:44.46), while also swimming the opening legs of Stanford's victorious 200 medley and 400 free relays.
