Kennedy, a native of Newport Beach, Calif., totaled three goals and four assists over the weekend in Los Angeles as the No. 2 Bears went 3-0, defeating No. 2(T) UCLA, No. 2(T) USC and No. 1 Stanford. He is the first Golden Bear to earn an MPSF weekly honor this season.
Making his collegiate debut on Saturday, the attacker finished with one goal and one assist in the 11-8 win over USC. On Sunday, he had two goals on three shots (66.7 percent) and two assists in Cal's 16-11 win over rival Stanford.
Kennedy joined the Bears this season after playing for Newport Harbor High School and Newport Water Polo Foundation.
