Softball Adds Home Doubleheader on Feb. 16

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Sun Devil Softball and head coach Trisha Ford announced the addition of a doubleheader against Cal State Fullerton to the 2021 schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The two programs face off on Tuesday, February 16 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium. 

With the doubleheader versus Fullerton, ASU's schedule now showcases 54 of the NCAA-allowed 56 regular season contests. Thirty-two games are set to give the Sun Devils home field advantage at Club Farrington. 

The two programs last met at the Mary Nutter Tournament in Palm Springs last February where the Titans escaped with a close win. Historically, the Sun Devils and Titans met on the diamond 50 times since 1980 and are stuck at a 25-25 tie through 40 years.

Fans are not permitted at Sun Devil Athletics events per Pac-12 Conference guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
