No. 5 Jorinde van Klinken and the Sun Devils take on the Texas Tech Shootout this weekend.

TEMPE - Arizona State is back in the Longhorn State this weekend to compete in the Texas Tech Shootout in Lubbock, Texas. Competition runs Friday and Saturday and features competition from Baylor, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Arizona, USC, and BYU. Competition kicks off at 3 p.m. CDT (2 p.m. MST) Friday with field events before running events get going two hours later. Saturday's events start at 11 a.m. CDT (10 a.m. MST) with field events, followed by running events two hours later. Fans can follow along on ESPN+

Sun Devils in action include Turner Washington, the second-ranked indoor shot putter in the country. Washington tossed for 20.94m/68-8.5 feet when he competed in Lubbock on Jan. 29. The throw moved him into second all-time at ASU behind Olympian Ryan Whiting.
On the women's side, No. 5 shot putter Jorinde van Klinken will also be in action. She went for 17.02m/55-10 ¼ feet last time in Lubbock. This weekend will be just the third collegiate competition for the Dutch national.
Other top-25 Sun Devils who will compete at Texas Tech include No. 12 Cole Riddle (pole), No. 14 Dubem Nwachukwu (400m), No. 15 Hayley Rayburn (pole), No. 16 Jamar Marshall Jr. (60mH), No. 19 Kentre Patterson (60mH), and No. 24 Sydnee Larkin (triple jump).
