UCLA Women’s Basketball Will Not Play Sunday’s Game at Colorado Due to Injury Concerns

Feb 13, 2021

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA Women's Basketball program has made the decision to not play its scheduled game against Colorado on Sunday, Feb. 14 due to injury concerns within the program. The decision was made in consultation with the team physician and team medical staff.
The Bruins will not meet the Pac-12's minimum requirement of healthy scholarship players (7) ahead of Sunday's game. As outlined by the Conference in the current 2020-21 Pac-12 COVID-19 Addendum, teams without enough healthy players may elect to play the game with fewer than the minimum roster scholarship players. Otherwise, upon review and approval by the Commissioner, the game may be rescheduled or declared a no contest. UCLA has opted to protect the health and safety of its student-athletes and not play Sunday's game.
