USC Swim & Dive Dominates Pac-12 Weekly Honors

Sophomore divers George Korovin and Nike Agunbiade, along with sophomore swimmer Harry Homans all received PAC-12 weekly honors for the week of February 15, as announced by the conference Tuesday (Feb. 16.)

Russia native, George Korovin, won twice during USC's home meet against Hawaii, taking both the 1M and platform competitions. On 1M, Korovin was first with 354.55 and was third on 3M with 261.95. Korovin also won on platform with 344.55.
 
All-American diver Nike Agunbiade won three times during USC's home meet against UCLA and Hawaii. Agunbiade took both the springboard competitions, winning on 3M with 302.45 and 1M with 295.55. On Saturday (Feb. 13), Agunbiade took the platform competition with 268.20.
 
Homans helped the Trojans to three wins this weekend, defeating Utah 160-94. The Georgia transfer won the 200y back (1:43.68), 200y fly (1:44.59) and 200y IM (1:49.08.) So far this season, Homans has NCAA B-cuts in the 400y IM, 200y fly and 200y back. 
 
After a week off, the Trojans begin postseason competition with the 2021 Pac-12 Championships from Feb. 24 - Mar. 3. The Swimming Championships will be held in Houston, Tex. on the campus of the University of Houston, while the Diving Championships will take place at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz.
