Feb 17, 2021

2021 USC Lacrosse Schedule

LOS ANGELES – The USC lacrosse game at New Hampshire (Durham, N.H.) previously scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 24, has been canceled due to a pause in the Wildcats' program activities for COVID-19 protocols, head coach Lindsey Munday announced on Wednesday, Feb. 17.

The Women of Troy will instead add sixth-ranked Stony Brook to its East Coast schedule and face the Seawolves at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium on Tuesday (Feb. 23) in Stony Brook, N.Y. USC will also play 12th-ranked Boston College on the same trip. The Trojans and the Eagles will meet in Chestnut Hill, Mass., on Friday (Feb. 26).

The Trojans were scheduled to play SBU at McAlister Field a year ago (March 15) but the game was cancelled during the onset of the COVID-19 world pandemic. USC is 1-4 in five previous meetings with the Seawolves with the only win coming at home on March 14, 2016. In the teams' last meeting, SBU won, 12-10, on April 14, 2019, in Stony Brook.

13th-ranked USC (1-0) opened the 2021 season over the weekend with a 20-6 victory over San Diego State. The Trojans got four goals apiece from sophomore attacker Ella Heaney and senior attacker Sophia Donovan who finished with seven points on three assists. Ninth-year head coach Lindsey Munday won her 100th career game in March last spring and is now 102-42 overall (.708).

All home USC women's lacrosse competitions will be conducted in accordance with the Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee health and safety recommendations and guidelines, available at Pac-12.com/health.
