LAWRENCE, Kan. - After a gritty 4-3 win over GCU, Arizona hits the road to take on Kansas on Friday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. MST.
Off to a 6-1 start to the season, the Wildcats look to continue their good start during their trip to Kansas. Talya Zandberg was the key to victory last week with a three set match to win the match and looks to carry that momentum into the road trip. Abby Amos and Gitte Heynemans remain undefeated on the season with six and seven singles wins respectively.
The last time these two teams met was in 1998 and the series is split 2-2. Arizona hopes to tip the scales while riding the momentum of their four game winning streak, but will have to go through No. 81 Sofia Smagina and the Jayhawks.
