After playing in The Prestige earlier this week, Oregon will have just one day between events when it opens play at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, Feb. 19-21, at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif.

Oregon finished tied for 20th against a loaded field that included six teams ranked in the GCAA Coaches Poll at The Prestige, this past Monday through Wednesday. Owen Avrit led the way for the second straight event to start the season, coming in tied for 29th at 4 over. The Ducks finished 31 over as a team. Jake Sollon competed in The Prestige Individual Invitational and came in tied for 19th, shooting back-to-back 68s in rounds one and two to sit in fourth place afte 36 holes.

The Ducks return home and will have two weeks off before heading out to Bandon, Ore. for the Bandon Dunes Championship, March 7-9.
