Sun Devil Home Events in 2020-21

TEMPE, Ariz. – After the 2020 season was cut short, Sun Devil Beach Volleyball has been chomping at the bit to compete again. The long wait is almost over as the Sand Devils released the 2021 schedule on Thursday, which begins next weekend in Phoenix.

Arizona State will spend the majority of the season on the road, though three tournaments are in the state of Arizona. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Sun Devils are unable to compete at their usual home at the PERA Club. For the home match against Arizona on April 21, the location is to be determined.

The 2021 season will begin close to home at Grand Canyon University on February 26, playing Colorado Mesa in the opener and host team GCU right after. There will also be a pairs tournament on GCU's courts on February 27. ASU will head down to Tucson for a tournament from March 6-7, playing three teams.

Conference play will begin on March 25 when the Sun Devils will be back to GCU to play Stanford on before returning to Tucson that following weekend on March 27-28 for a tournament with Pac-12 teams. A second conference tournament will be held at Stanford on April 10-11.

Arizona State will play a final regular-season tournament at the Boise State Beach Classic on April 16-17, which will also feature a matchup with Utah. The final regular-season dual will be the rivalry matchup with Arizona on April 21.

The Pac-12 Championships will be from April 28 to May 1 at UCLA.
