USC Track & Field Sends 10 To The Texas Tech Matador Qualifier
The USC track and field program is sending 10 athletes to compete at the 2021 Texas Tech Matador Qualifier held at the Sports Performance Center in Lubbock, Texas on Feb. 19. The USC women's team is currently ranked No. 5 and the men's team No. 13 in the latest USTFCCCA rankings.
Among the schools scheduled to send athletes to the meet include host Texas Tech, Abilene Christian, Florida State, Hardin Simmons, Harding, Houston, New Mexico, Northwestern State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma Baptist, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, UCLA, USC and Washington State.
Expected to travel to Texas Tech for the track meet and compete for the Trojans are:
Women - Jan'Taijah Ford (400m), TeeTee Terry (200m), Lanae-Tava Thomas (200m), Nicole Yeargin (400m)
Men - Eric Allen Jr. (200m), Brian Herron (400m), Jalyn Jackson (TJ), Nicholas Ramey (400m), Zach Shinnick (200m), Brendon Stewart (60m, 200m)
