Bling, Teoh Stay in Top 10 After Two Rounds
PALM DESERT, Calif. - Senior Devon Bling and junior Bryan Wiyang Teoh remain in the Top 10 after two rounds of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, as the Bruins are tied for eighth following two rounds at The Classic Club.
The Bruins shot a 13-over 301 as a team and are at 10-over 586 following 36 holes.
Bling shot an even-par 72 on Saturday and is tied for sixth at 3-under 141, four shots back of the individual lead. He made six birdies, posting two on par-5s (fourth and 18th holes), three on par-4s (fifth, 13th and 15th) and one on the par-3 12th, adding three bogeys and a triple.
Teoh is tied for ninth (-2, 142) following a 2-over 74 in his second round. He birdied the par-4 16th and par-5 18th to go with four bogeys.
Sophomore Mason Greene is tied for 52nd (+5, 149), shooting a 4-over 76 on Saturday. He had a pair of birdies on the par-5 fourth and 14th holes, two bogeys and two doubles. Freshman Ty Griggs (T-82, +10, 154) shot a 7-over 79 in his second round, making a birdie on his first hole, six bogeys and a double. Junior Ahmed Ali (111th, +20, 164) made two bogeys and five doubles on Saturday (+12, 84).
The final round for the Bruins on Sunday will be a shotgun start, beginning at 8 a.m. off holes No. 4-6. Live scoring will be available here.
