LOS ANGELES--The USC women's tennis team secured their second win of the week with their 6-1 victory over San Diego on Saturday (Feb. 20) at Marks Stadium. The No. 15 ranked Trojans are now 5-2 on the season.

The Toreros made the first move of the match as Colling /Goldsmith defeated USC's Cayetano/Cheong 6-1 on court one. Although USC had already clinched the match, the remaining courts were played out.

Trojan sophomore No. 48 Eryn Cayetano beat San Diego's top player, No. 61 Solymar Colling 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-4) on court one. Minutes later, USC junior Salma Ewing was victorious over Torero Abigail Desiatnikov 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-5) on court three to push USC ahead 6-0 overall.
