Sprints, Jumps Take on Air Force Meet

2021 Performance Lists

EUGENE, Ore. – Looking for season bests and improved national standing, members of the Oregon sprints and jumps crews will compete this weekend at the Championships at the Peak meet hosted by Air Force. Preliminary rounds begin Friday at the Cadet Field House in Colorado Springs, Colo.
All told, nine Ducks are slated for competition at the Air Force meet including freshman Micah Williams who goes into the weekend as the NCAA leader at 60 meters. He broke the school record in the event with his 6.56 showing at the Razorback Invitational. Kemba Nelson (7.19) and Brianna Duncan (7.28) enter the competition ranked third and 13th, respectively, on the national descending-order list.
Oregon's contingent has additional top-16 marks from Emily Sloan (8.15) in the 60-meter hurdles and Dominique Ruotolo (13.15m/43-1.75) in the triple jump. Full UO entries below.

The top 16 declared athletes in each event and top 12 in relays will advance to the NCAA Indoor Championships. The full list of entries is scheduled to be announced Tuesday (March 2) evening. The 2021 NCAA indoor meet will be contested March 11-13 at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
