5 Beavers Earn First Round Byes; Pac-12 Seeding Announced

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Five Oregon State wrestlers earned first round byes in the 2021 Pac-12 Wrestling Championships as the seeding was announced Friday morning by the conference.
The Beavers earned three one seeds from Grant Willits (141), Hunter Willits (157), and Ryan Reyes (184). Devan Turner (133) and J.J. Dixon (197) were tabbed as two seeds in their respective weight classes.
Those five wrestlers all earned a first round bye.
Entering the event as three seeds are Brandon Kaylor (125) and Matthew Olguin (165), while Lane Stigall will be a four seed at 149.
Colton Beisley (174) and Brian Barnes (HWT) are both sixth seeds.
The event starts on Sunday at 11:30 am (PT) and is available to watch, for free, on These streams can also be found on and the Pac-12 Now app.
The championship rounds will be broadcast live on Pac-12 Network at 6 pm (PT).
