The Game
Oregon State and Grand Canyon play game three of their series Saturday at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. PT (2 p.m. in Arizona).

Last Game
Joe Casey drilled a two-out double off the left field wall to start a ninth-inning comeback that led to Oregon State's 3-1 win over Grand Canyon on Friday night. Troy Claunch singled with two strikes on the prior AB, and Casey drove home he and Matthew Gretler to make it a 2-1 game. Kyler McMahan capped off the comeback with an RBI single to give OSU the 2-0 series lead.

Staff Through Two
• Oregon State's pitching staff has held Grand Canyon to just one run on six hits in the first two games of the series. 
• The Beavers have struck out 24 while issuing five walks. 
• OSU has sent eight pitchers to the mound in the first two games.

Hjerpe Career
• Cooper Hjerpe lowered his career earned run average to 3.09 with Friday's outing. 
• For his career, he is 2-2 and has allowed eight earned runs in 23 1/3 innings. He has 10 walks to 27 career strikeouts.

Mulholland To 31
• Senior Jake Mulholland closed out the comeback, and picked up his 31st career save. 
• That pushes him one closer to the Oregon State all-time leader, Kevin Gunderson, who tallied 37 from 2004-06.

The 2021 Bullpen
• Twelve different pitchers have seen relief action for the Beavers this season.
• Those 12 have combined for 23 2/3 innings, allowing just 11 hits and two runs. The bullpen has walked eight to 23 strikeouts.
• The OSU bullpen has held GCU to just two hits and no runs in seven innings in the series. They've totaled 11 strikeouts to just two walks.

Singles
• Oregon State's five-game win streak is its longest since winning five straight from April 13-20, taking two from Arizona State and sweeping Arizona.
• OSU is now 5-2 all-time against Grand Canyon, and has a 4-0 record in Phoenix versus the Antelopes.
• The Beavers have scored at least one run in every inning in 2021; the ninth had been the team's last to score.
• OSU's 14 runs in the sixth inning of games is more than its pitching staff (11) has allowed total.
• Ryan Ober is the lone Beaver to bat in the same spot of the order in every game - 2nd.
