Box Score

STANFORD, Calif. – Jarod Lucas scored a career-high 26 points to lead Oregon State to a 73-62 victory over Stanford on Saturday afternoon at Maples Pavilion.

The Beavers defeated California 59-57 on Thursday and completed the Bay Area road sweep with Saturday's win over the Cardinal.

It's just the second time the Beavers have swept a conference road trip since taking both games against the Golden Bears (69-65) and Stanford (77-62) in 2008-09. Oregon State swept Colorado in Boulder (76-74) and Utah in Salt Lake City (81-72) in 2018-19.

The Beavers took the lead for good with about 14 minutes to play and led 65-54 with 3:11 remaining when Lucas hit a deep 3-pointer from the center of the arc.

Lucas went 7-for-11 from the field, 2-for-3 from beyond the arc and 10-for-11 from the free throw line for his 26 points. It's the third time he's scored 20-plus points in his two-year Oregon State career, all coming against Stanford. He added a career-best three steals.

Ethan Thompson had 13 points, four rebounds and three assists for the Beavers. Warith Alatishe added 10 points and eight rebounds, and Rodrigue Andela came off the bench and had eight points and six rebounds.

Ziaire Williams scored 14 points off the bench to lead Stanford (14-11, 10-9 Pac-12). Lukas Kisunas matched his career best with 12 points and Spencer Jones had 10.

The Cardinal had a 10-point lead in the first half, but the Beavers closed on a 14-5 run to cut the deficit to 34-33 at the break.

The Beavers will play their final regular-season road game against Utah at 4 p.m. PT on Wednesday in Salt Lake City. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
