SEATTLE –The Washington GymDawgs finished their third home meet of the season with a score of 193.575 against the #25 Arizona State Sun Devils. Geneva Thompson led the way for the GymDawgs, earning scores of 9.875 on bars and 9.850 on floor.
Freshmen Cathy Eksteen, Katie McNamara, and Lauren Thomas all earned scores of 9.825 on beam. That trio earned career highs and recorded the highest scores for the GymDawgs. Freshman Skylar Killough-Wilhelm was the first to earn a score of 9.825 on beam this season. The last time a freshman earned a score of 9.825 in this event was in 2019, by current GymDawg Brenna Brooks.
Amara Cunningham led the way on floor, earning a score of 9.875. She has not scored below a 9.800 on floor this season. Allie Smith came out strong as well on floor, earning a career-high score of 9.825 on this event.

Washington stays in Seattle to host Stanford and Boise State for a tri-meet on Sunday, March 7 at 2:00 PM. That meet will be streamed on the Washington free live stream.
