Arizona Caps Off a Successful Day 2 of Pac-12 Championships

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona Swimming and Diving wrapped up Day 2 of he 2021 Pac-12 Men's Championships Monday evening. 

Summary
The Cats ended up on the podium for every event of the night. They had one 2nd place finish and three 3rd place finishes. 

2nd Place Finishes
David Schlicht swam a lifetime-best in the 200 IM, posting a time of 1:42.18, the eighth fastest time in the nation. 
 

3rd Place Finishes
Brooks Fail placed 3rd in the 500 free with a time of 4:11.29, coming in as the eighth fastest time in the nation. 

Marin Ercegovic also placed 3rd in his 50 free event with a time of 19.22, a top 20 time in the country. 

The 200 free relay team (Combs, Ercegovic, Maric, & Reid) posted a time of 1:17.86.

After Day 2, the Wildcats sit at 3rd in the standings with 271 total points and trailing Cal by 63 points.
