Pac-12 Release

San Francisco, Calif. – Charisma Osborne has earned Pac-12 Player of the Week honors, the Conference office announced Monday. It is the third Conference weekly honor for Osborne this season and the 66th all-time for UCLA Women's Basketball.

Osborne's accolade comes on the heels of an historic performance, as the sophomore put up 18 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds against the Trojans (Feb. 26) for just the ninth triple-double in team history. She becomes just the seventh Bruin and first Bruin since Japreece Dean (Nov. 26, 2019). Her 12 assists were a career-high as she surpassed her previous best of eight, set earlier this season in a victory over Utah (Jan. 10). The Moreno Valley, Calif., native didn't record a single turnover in 34 minutes of game action.

Osborne's POW honor is the fifth such accolade for UCLA this season (Osborne – Mar. 1; Osborne – Jan. 25, Natalie ChouJan. 11, Onyenwere – Jan. 4, Osborne – Nov. 30). The 2020-21 Bruins are now tied with the 2005-06 team for the most Pac-12 weekly honors in a single season. UCLA also leads the league in weekly honors this season.
