SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 announced the 2021 Cal football schedule Tuesday and the Golden Bears will open the season by welcoming Nevada to California Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 4. The six-game home slate will wrap Nov. 13 against USC with the annual Joe Roth Game and Senior Day. In between, the Bears will host Sacramento State (Sept. 18) and three October contests against Washington State (Oct. 2), Colorado (Oct. 23) and Oregon State (Oct. 30).

Cal will play at TCU on Sept. 11 in the first of six road games. The Bears have visited TCU's Amon G. Carter Stadium twice previously, winning the Armed Forces Bowl against Air Force in 2007 and 2015, but the only time Cal and TCU have faced each other was a 10-7 Horned Frogs' victory at the 2018 Cheez-It Bowl in Phoenix, Arizona.

The road schedule also includes Pac-12 trips to Washington (Sept. 25), Oregon (Friday, Oct. 15), Arizona (Nov. 6), Stanford (Nov. 20) and UCLA (Nov. 27). Cal was a 30-24 winner over Washington the last time the Bears opened their Pac-12 schedule in Seattle in 2015 and also won their most recent road contests against both the Huskies and the Cardinal in 2019. The Cal-Stanford matchup will be the 124th Big Game.

Cal will have a single bye week in 2021 following its home game against Washington State and prior to its Friday night contest at Oregon.

Game times and broadcast networks will be announced at a later date.
