Arizona places Third at Pac-12 Championships

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona Swimming and Diving wrapped up the 2021 Pac-12 Men's Championships Wednesday evening. 

Summary
Cats racked up another four podium finishes, in the 100 free, 200 breast, 1650 free, and the 400 free relay. 

The 400 free relay (Ercegovic, Ingram, Maric, & Reid) placed second with a time of 2:51.10, an NCAA A cut. 
 

Brooks Fail and Marin Ercegovic placed second in their respective events. Fail came in with a time of 14:44.43 for the 1650 free and Marin Ercegovic with a time of 42.43 in the 100 free. 

Sophomore David Schlicht ended up on the podium for the third consecutive night, this time in the 200 breast placing third with a time of 1:53.75.

Arizona takes 3rd place honors in the 2021 Men's Pac-12 Swimming and Diving Championships. They finished in the standings behind 2021 Pac-12 Champion Cal and Runner-up Stanford.
