EUGENE, Ore. – Off its first road trip of the year, the Oregon men's tennis team is back home beginning Friday for the first of two weekend matches against Cal Poly. First serve of the opener is scheduled for 3 p.m. (PT) at the UO Student Tennis Center. The teams will meet again Sunday at 12 p.m.
Oregon will play its next five matches at home.
In continued cooperation with the local health authority and safety protocols, spectators will not be permitted at UO home matches. Fans can still follow along via match streams and live results.

The Ducks carry an 8-2 record into Friday's match. Individually, Joshua Charlton and Jesper Klöv-Nilsson lead the team with eight wins apiece while Emmanuel Coste owns a 7-1 record including three wins over ranked opponents. Oregon has lost the doubles point in three of its last four matches. Charlton and new doubles point Quinn Vandecasteele won two of its three matches last week during the team's road trip in Arizona.
Last Time Out
Oregon dropped a tight 5-2 decision at No. 20 Arizona (Feb. 28). The team was within a point of securing the doubles point but the Wildcats rallied for the early lead. The Ducks got wins from Coste and Charlton at No. 1 and 2 singles, respectively, in the team loss. Coste had a three-set win over No. 50 Jonas Ziverts while Charlton won in straight sets to complete a 3-0 weekend in singles play.

In the first Oracle ITA top-50 team rankings, Oregon checks in at No. 41 in the nation. The Ducks are one of six Pac-12 teams ranked in this week's ITA release.
Within Reach of 100
Charlton surpassed 90 career wins (combined singles + doubles) during the Ducks' weekend in Arizona. The 90th win was a doubles win with Vandecasteele at the No. 1 spot against Arizona State. Charlton is a combined 92-29 (.760) heading into the weekend against Cal Poly. In a nearly even split, the UO junior is 47-14 in singles play with a 45-15 mark in doubles play so far in his UO career.
About Cal Poly
Cal Poly enters the weekend with a 4-4 record this season, and comes off a 5-2 win over Santa Clara (Feb. 27). The Mustangs won the doubles point and picked up victories at No. 1, 3, 5 and 6 singles in their last outing. Individually, Alex Stater leads the team with a 7-1 record including five in a row. Cal Poly has played seven of eight matches on the road.
