UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – Running in Friday's Pac-12 Cross Country Championships, Jackson Mestler ran to a career best third-place individual finish at the Chambers Bay Golf Course. With his top-seven showing, Mestler earns a spot on the all-conference first team for the first time in his career.

Overall, the Men of Oregon finished fourth in the team race while Moira O'Shea was the Ducks' top performer on the women's side.

Mestler crossed the finish line in a time of 22:54.7, securing the best Pac-12 showing of his career with a previous best of 12th place at the 2018 conference meet. Prior to earning first-team accolades this year, Mestler had tallied second-team honors in 2018 (12th place) and 2019 (14th).
