LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men's basketball team has secured the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Pac-12 Tournament and will take on No. 5-seed Oregon State this Thursday afternoon (2:30 p.m., PT).

UCLA concluded the regular season with a 17-8 overall record and a 13-6 mark in Pac-12 play, finishing in fourth place in the league standings.

Oregon earned the league's No. 1 seed after having defeated Oregon State (80-67) in the regular-season finale for both teams on Sunday, March 7. UCLA registered a 57-52 win against Oregon State in the only meeting between the two teams earlier this season (Jan. 30, in Pauley Pavilion).

The Bruins have secured a first-round bye in the league tournament, which begins on Wednesday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

UCLA is seeking its fifth Pac-12 Tournament title, as the Bruins have previously won the league's conference tournament in 1987, 2006, 2008 and 2014. Last season's Pac-12 Tournament was canceled after the first day of competition, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The winner of Thursday's matchup between UCLA and Oregon State will advance to the semifinal round on Friday, facing the winner of No. 1-seed Oregon against either No. 8-seed Arizona State or No. 9-seed Washington State. The No. 8 seed faces the No. 9 seed on Wednesday in a first-round contest.

UCLA's matchup against Oregon State will be televised by the Pac-12 Network on Thursday (2:30 p.m., PT).

The first semifinal contest (Friday at 5:30 p.m.) will be televised by the Pac-12 Network, while the second semifinal game (Friday at 8:30 p.m.) will be televised on ESPN.

Saturday's championship match in Las Vegas will be televised on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. (PT).
