Chu Sits in a Tie for 22nd after Two Rounds at the Meadow Club Invitational

FAIRFAX, Calif. – Junior Amy Chu sits in a tie for 22nd place on the player leaderboard after two rounds of action on Monday, March 8, to lead the Washington State women's golf team at the Meadow Club Invitational.

Chu, who shared last year's Meadow Club Invitational title with fifth-year senior Marie Lund-Hansen, will head into Tuesday's, March 9, final round nine-strokes off the lead after carding 151 (+7) over the first and second round. The junior shot five-over par in her first round, but improved her score by three strokes in the second round, to end the round carding 74 (+2). Chu is one of three golfers competing at the Meadow Club Invitational this week.

Sophomore Jiye Ham sits in a tie for 50th overall on the player leaderboard, as the Bangkok, Thailand native ended her first two rounds with a score of 158 (+14). Lund-Hansen heads into Tuesday's finale tied for 55th after carding 159 (+15).

The trio of Cougs conclude their tour at the Meadow Club Invitational this Tuesday, March 9. The final 18-holes of play is scheduled to tee-off at 7:30 a.m. PT. Fans can follow the third round on GoflStat.com.
