USC's Agunbiade, Korovin Punch Tickets to NCAA Diving Championships

Sophomore All-Americans Nike Agunbiade and George Korovin qualified for the 2021 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, to lead the Trojans during the opening day of the Zone E Diving Championships in Flagstaff, Ariz. 
The pair of sophomores highlighted USC's efforts as Agunbiade qualified on 1-meter, finishing the day sixth overall with 550.30. Korovin was third on 3-meter with 752.90. 
Sophomore Savannah Stocker, who qualified on platform last season, just missed the top-12 cut on 1-meter, finishing the day 13th overall with 514.35. 
Freshman Farrah Volpintesta was 28th overall, with 207.45. 
This year's Zone E Championships continue tomorrow with 3-meter, followed by platform on Wednesday. Prelims begin at 10:30 a.m. PT each day, with finals to follow in the early afternoon.
