BANDON, Ore. – For the second straight event, Oregon posted a season-best finish, coming in tied for second in the Bandon Dunes Championship at Bandon Trails, shooting 5 over for the week. A pair of Ducks in Nate Stember and Yuki Moriyama finished in the top 10 with both turning in their best career finishes.

How It Happened: Moriyama carded the team's low round of the day for the second straight round, shooting a 1-under 70 to finish 2 under and tied for 10th. Despite a double bogey at the par-3 second hole, he bounced back birdies on three of his next seven holes to shoot 1 under on the front nine. He got to 2 under with a birdie at the par-4 11th, but gave it right back with a bogey at 12. After getting back to 2 under with birdie on 15, he closed his round with a bogey at the par-4 18th, shooting even on the back nine.

Jake Sollon turned in the next best round for the Ducks, finishing with a 1-over 72 to end the week 4 over and tied for 19th. The senior transfer capped his first event in the lineup with a steady round, opening with a bogey before two birdies and nine pars over the next 11 holes put him 1 under through 12. He would make a pair of bogeys down the stretch to finish the day 1 over.

Stember capped his week with an up-and-down final round, shooting a 2-over 73. He birdied two of his first three holes but sandwiched a double bogey between those to be even through three holes. He would drop to 4 over for the round following a double bogey at 14, but finished strong with birdies at two of his last three holes, highlighted by one at the closing par-4 18th.

Tom Gueant was the final counting score of the day with a 3-over 74 to put him in a tie for 36th at 7 over. Craig Ronne turned in a solid week, finishing tied for 14th competing as an individual at 1 over following a 1-over 72 on Tuesday.
