No. 3 UCLA remained unbeaten at 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the Pac-12 Conference after earning a 1-0 victory at Colorado.

Delanie Sheehan scored the game's only goal on a banger from long-distance at 6:27. A Colorado defender deflected a pass from Sheehan intended for Mia Fishel, and the ball went right back to Sheehan at the top of the arc. Sheehan one-timed it past Colorado goalkeeper Dani Hansen into the right corner for her second goal of the season.

The Bruins had a few other opportunities to increase the lead in the first half, outshooting Colorado 8-1 in the half before going into the intermission up 1-0.

Colorado increased the pressure in the second half, getting off nine shots, but the Bruin defense and goalkeeper Lauren Brzycky remained strong for the shutout. UCLA averted a crisis when Colorado's Shyra James hit the crossbar in the 69th minute. Kayleigh Webb also had a clean look in the 89th minute, but her shot was saved by Brzykcy. The Bruins nearly doubled their lead in the 71st minute when Marley Canales' corner kick bounced around in traffic in front of the box, but Hansen smothered the ball to keep it out of the net.

UCLA will next play at Utah on Sunday, Mar. 14 at 1pm MT/12pm PT. The game will be televised on Pac-12 Networks.
