FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Four Wildcats competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships on Thursday and Friday, picking up two runner-up finishes, three First Team All-American and one Second Team All-American honors.
Samantha Noennig was the National Shot Put Runner-Up, throwing a mark of 17.69m (58-0.5) to earn her spot as a First Team All-American. Her performance closes out her successful first season as a Wildcat where she tallied a school record, four event wins, two meet records and was named USTFCCCA Women's Field Athlete of the Year.
Israel Oloyede also finished runner-up in his event, competing in the weight throw contest on Thursday. He capped off his school record-breaking season with a PR of 23.79m (78-0.75) and First Team All-America recognition.
Lillian Lowe finished seventh in the women's high jump with a clearance of 1.81m (5-11.25) and will join Noennig and Oloyede as a First Team All-American.
Jordan Geist threw a mark of 18.89m (61-11.75) in the shot put to finish 13th. He will earn Second Team All-American recognition for the season.

Both the men's and women's teams will finish the Indoor season ranked as top-25 programs in the country.

"With all that our programs have dealt with emotionally over this past year, having two top-25 team finishes at the Indoor NCAAs is a true testament to our coaches and our student-athletes," said Head Coach Fred Harvey. "I am so impressed with them all."
The Wildcats will kick off the outdoor season at the Willie Williams Classic on March 19.
