MESA, Ariz. – Playing with its full roster of players for the first time this season, Arizona Women's Golf carded a second-place finish at the Clover Cup with a final score of 13-under par. The Wildcats were edged by Arizona State by three strokes in the final standings as Arizona was led by sophomore Vivian Hou who finished in a tie for third at 7-under par.

"The ladies played a solid three rounds of golf, and I am tremendously proud of their effort," said head coach Laura Ianello. "Vivian was our top finisher with a third-place finish followed by Ya Chun with a top ten showing. We saw a lot of good things this week and we will carry this forward heading to our next tournament in Phoenix in two weeks."

Junior Ya Chun Chang, playing in her first event of the collegiate season, finished four strokes behind Hou at 3-under and in a tie for 10th place. Senior Yu-Sang Hou gave the Wildcats a third top-15 finish.

Arizona's runner-up performance at the Clover Cup marked a new season best, topping its third-place finish at the Sun Devil Winter Classic in mid-February.

The team will return to action at the PING Arizona State Invitational at Papago Golf Club in Phoenix, beginning on Friday, March 26.
