TUCSON, Ariz. - No. 16 Arizona took care of business at home as the sweep VCU with a score of 4-0.
The first point of the day did not come easy as the Wildcats push past VCU to win the doubles point during a 6-3 tiebreaker on court 2. The Cats took that momentum and never let go as they trounced VCU in singles. Carlos Hassey dominated his court to net the first singles point, followed by No. 54 Filip Malbasic. The captain Alejandro Reguant clinched the match on Court 4 to continue the impressive Wildcats win streak.
The Wildcats will go on the road once more to face No. 2 Baylor in a big-time matchup at 4 p.m MST on Wednesday, Mar. 17.
