ANNIKA Award: Spring watch list | Award Homepage

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Sun Devil Women's Golf's Linn Grant was named to the ANNIKA Award Watch List, as announced on Golf Channel and Golfweek.

Grant is one of only 15 individuals to advance in consideration for the women's collegiate golf's National Player of the Year award. The winner of four consecutive individual titles, Grant has yet to lose this season, putting together one of the greatest stretches of golf in the program's storied history. In her head-to-head matchups with fellow members on the list, Grant has clearly separated herself, finishing a combined 18 strokes ahead of her competition in three events.

ANNIKA Award Watch List presented by Stifel:

This is the second consecutive year that the First Team All-American has found herself on this prestigious list, as she was a prime candidate for the award last Spring before the season was cut short. In 10 career appearances, Grant has eight Top-10 finishes and has never finished lower than 18th place. She is currently ranked as the No. 4 golfer nationally in Golfweek/Sagarin's latest rankings and the Golstat's No. 4-ranked female collegiate golfer.

She put herself in elite company when winning the Clover Cup last weekend, joining Brandie Burton (1989-90; 5 tournament wins) as the only Sun Devils to win four or more tournaments in a row. If you count the three-team Match in the Desert with Top-40 teams UCLA and Denver in which Grant shared individual medalist honors with teammate Alexandra Forsterling, she has won five straight events dating back to last season. Her chance to match Burton's magical run will come later this month, when the Sun Devils host the PING/ASU Invitational at Papago Golf Club from March 26-28. Fans will be permitted under Papago Golf Club's COVID-19 Policy which can be found here
