Live video and scores

SEATTLE - The Huskies host their first Pac-12 opponent of the season tomorrow, as Utah comes in for Washington's only match of the weekend. Both squads are hungry for their first conference win, so Friday's 3 p.m. match is sure to be a battle. The location will be weather dependent, at Bill Quillian Stadium if the weather stays dry, or the Nordstrom Tennis Center if it rains.

The Huskies (7-5, 0-2 Pac-12) have won three straight matches over Northwest foes in Portland State, Gonzaga, and Portland. Clement Chidekh continues to lead the way with his 11-1 singles record, 10-1 at No. 1 singles. Freshman Han-Chih Lin has gone 9-3, Jack Davis now sits at 8-4, Ewen Lumsden is at 7-4, and Jack Pulliam owns a 6-4 record. Adam Torocsik has held down the No. 6 spot recently, winning his past two to get to 5-3 on the season.

Utah is 10-6 on the season and 0-2 in conference after dropping two matches at UCLA and USC last week that were closer than the 6-1 and 7-0 scores indicate. Utah won doubles against the Bruins, and on the weekend they lost four matches in three sets. Senior Slava Shainyan has gone 7-3 at No. 1 singles this season and freshman Franco Capalbo has gone 3-1 at No. 1 and 4-2 at No. 2. Capalbo and Geronimo Busleiman are 8-2 at No. 1 doubles this year. Washington last faced Utah in 2019, earning a 4-2 win in Seattle.
