Arizona Suffers Loss Against No. 26 Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. - No. 26 Stanford took the win over the Wildcats with a score of 5-2.

Arizona lost the doubles point early to put them behind 1-0 before singles play. After falling into a 4-0 defecit, Jelena Lukic and Kayla Wilkins sealed straight set victories on courts 1 and 2 to prevent a second shut out in a row. Lukic took the victory over the No. 10 singles player in the country while Wilkins took down No. 63. Those two ranked wins are the first for each player on the season with records of 1-1 for both.
