Beavers To Head South For Duck Invitational

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team will compete at the 31st Annual Duck Invitational Monday and Tuesday in Eugene.
 
The Beavers won the Duck Invitational in 2019 with a 3-under 861, which was 10 strokes better than second-place Oregon. Oregon State also won team titles at the Duck Invitational in 2014 and 1998
 
Alex Moore fired the lowest individual round in Oregon State history and set the Eugene Country Club course record with a 9-under 63 in March of 2011.
 
Anthony Arvidson of Oregon State claimed medalist honors at this event in 1998 and 2000, while Beavers' head coach Jon Reehoorn won the individual title in 2002 while competing for Washington State.
 
FIELD (15): Oregon State, Boise State, Cal Poly, Dixie State, Gonzaga, Hawai'i, Idaho, Louisiana-Monroe, Oregon, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Seattle, South Dakota State, UCLA and Washington.
 
COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-71, 7,015-yard Eugene Country Club.
 
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State will go with a lineup of Carson Barry, Mateo Fuenmayor, Kyosuke Hara, Shawn Lu and Spencer Tibbits. Alec Berrey and Jackson Lake will compete as individuals.
 
FORMAT: Two-day, 54-hole tournament with 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
 
TEE TIMES: There will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Monday with 36 holes of continuous play and a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday for the final round.
