EUGENE, Ore. – On the strength of an undefeated weekend helping the Ducks to a pair of wins, senior Emmanuel Coste has been named the Pac-12 Player of the Week as announced Tuesday afternoon. It marks the program's first weekly honor since former UO standout Thomas Laurent was selected during the 2018 season.

Individually, Costed posted a 4-0 weekend with two wins apiece in singles and doubles play. He dropped just two games in a 6-1, 6-1 win over Utah's Slava Shainyan at No. 1 singles. The win was Coste's 10th of the season. Overall, he lost just seven games in two singles matches. In his weekend opener, Coste had a 6-3, 6-2 triumph over Lucas Cerbelli of Seattle.
Coste and Jesper Klöv-Nilsson improved to 9-3 in doubles play with a pair of wins in the No. 3 spot in the Ducks' lineup. The UO duo only lost three games in two matches during the weekend.
