Teves Named Pac-12 Player Of The Week
SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 Conference has named Dylan Teves its Player of the Week after Teves scored the gamewinner against #2 Stanford last week. This is the first Pac-12 Player of the Week honor of Teves' career and the third such award for the Huskies this year. Teves joins Nick Scardina and Charlie Ostrem as Huskies to earn Player of the Week this season.
Teves scored in the 85th minute in a battle of top-ten teams to take down #2 Stanford, moving the Huskies into a tie for first place in the Pac-12. It was Teves' fifth goal of the season, tying his career-best goal total from 2018, and set a new career high in points for Teves with 13. Teves has now scored five goals in the last five games, with three goals in the last four Pac-12 games.
Teves has been a part of 36% of Washington's goals this year. He has two multi-point games: Teves scored a brace against Seattle U and became the first Husky since 1999 with a three-assist game when he did so against Gonzaga.
This week, the Huskies hit the road for two games. First, Washington will face Oregon State on Wednesday in Corvallis on the Pac-12 Network. The week ends with a matchup at San Diego State on Sunday.
