USC won its last team title in 1977 and posted its last top 3 finish in 1990 with a second place. Since 1990, the best USC has done is a quartet of fourth-place finishes in 1991, 2001, 2013 and 2015. In 2014, Quintero won the 500y free and led USC to a win the 800y free relay. In 2013, junior Vladimir Morozov swept the 50y and 100y freestyles, Troy's first crowns in the events since 1977 and 1974, respectively. Morozov also led USC to its first 400y free relay title since 1977. Troy has also won four 400y medley relays in its NCAA history and one 200y medley relay.
