GAME NOTES

LOS ANGELES -- The climb up the Pac-12 Conference standings continues for No. 21 Sun Devil Soccer this weekend at conference foe, No. 3 UCLA. Arizona State (6-1-2) currently places third in the Pac-12 with an undefeated conference record.

ASU and UCLA (8-0-1) kick off at 7:00 p.m. MST on Friday, March 26, from Wallis Annenberg Stadium on Pac-12 Arizona.

The Sun Devils boast eight points in four conference games played to land at No. 3 behind Stanford and UCLA. ASU started the season at 12th in the preseason Pac-12 Coaches Poll.

SUN DEVIL REWIND
Last week the Sun Devils jumped into the top 20 of the United Soccer Coaches Poll, landing at No. 16 after starting the season with an undefeated record through eight games. The rank was the highest the Sun Devils attained since 2004 when the squad ranked ninth.

Despite a physical battle and a backstop performance by goalkeeper Giulia Cascapera, ASU suffered its first loss of the season at Arizona last weekend.

In her eighth start of the season, Cascapera came up with five saves on the night, her second-most in a single game this season. UArizona scored one goal at 32:47 while holding ASU scoreless. The Wildcats outshot the Sun Devils 17-8 through 90 minutes.
