STARTING BLOCK
Utah will send 10 student-athletes to the Texas Relays as they compete in five events that will be spread out between three days because of how large the meet is. A full schedule of the three-day meet can be found here. The Utes will be challenged all week, running against some of the nation's top runners in Austin.

LAST TIME OUT
The Utes had a great day on the track last week at the Trojan Invitational with a pair of victories, some PRs and all-time bests as well as podium finishes. Sarah Newton was the first to capture an event, wining the 1500m with a mark of 4:32.40 while Anna Busatto took third (4:36.51). Oneillia Fuller cracked the top-10 when she ran a 55.55 in the 400m with Jackie Martin taking third at 55.62. Brook Manson and Whitney Hessler finished in second and third, respectively, in the 800m race. Manson's mark of 2:06.82 was just shy of her career-best while Hessler's 2:07.40 slid her into 10th on the all-time list at Utah. Meanwhile, Jasie York set a new PR (2:12.60) while Brooklyn James set a new season-best time (2:11.17). Sophie Ryan and Morgan Jensen led a dominant 3k crew for the Utes, finishing 1-2 while Utah claimed seven of the top eight spots. Ryan clocked in at 10:03.35 and narrowly leaned out Jensen (10:03.38) at the finish line. Regan Crofts rounded things out for the Utes with a third-place finish in the javelin with a final toss of 37.08m (121'8").
