Trojans Wrap Up Second Day of Competition at the NCAA Swim and Dive Championships

The USC men's swim team suffered a heartbreaking disqualification during finals to wrap up the second day of competition at the 2021 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday (March 25) in Greensboro, N.C. 
 
USC's splash and dash quartet of Nikola Miljenic, Alexei Sancov, Billy Cruz Zuniga and Max Saunders were nabbed for a relay exchange violation during the second heat of the men's 200y free relay.  
 
Earlier in the day, senior Nikola Miljenic finished 29th in the 50y free, touching in 19.57. 
 
In the diving well, sophomore George Korovin was 21st on 1-meter with 293.55. 
 
The NCAA Championships continue through Saturday with prelims at 7 a.m. PT each day and finals at 3 p.m. PT.

  • Platform Diving
  • 400-yard Freestyle Relay – Timed final
