Wildcats Travel to San Diego for Aztec Invitational
TUCSON, Ariz. – Coming off of a successful outdoor season opener, Arizona Track and Field will travel to San Diego, Calif. for the Aztec Invitational hosted by San Diego State University on Friday and Saturday.
The Wildcats will compete in the men's and women's hammer throw at 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. MST on Friday. Saturday's competition is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. MST with the women's javelin throw. Running events will follow at 12:45 p.m.
Arizona will face off against 10 schools: Air Force, BYU, Cal, Grand Canyon, LMU, New Mexico State, Oregon, San Diego State, UC San Diego and USC. Live results can be found here.
This will be the team's second meet of the outdoor season, coming off of their home opener, the Willie Williams Classic. The Cats tallied 12 top-20 marks and times over the weekend, including freshman Johnnie Blockburger who broke the Arizona freshman 400m record with his NCAA-leading time. He was also named Pac-12 Men's Track Athlete of the Week.

35 athletes will be making the trip for the Wildcats and will be looking to put up more top-NCAA marks.
