Bruins Move Up Four Spots at The Goodwin
STANFORD, Calif. - The Bruins moved up four positions on the leaderboard at The Goodwin after shooting a 5-over 285 on Friday at the Stanford Golf Course. UCLA, which shot seven strokes better than Thursday's opening round, is at 17-over 577 through 36 holes.
Senior Eddy Lai posted an even-par 70 in his second round and is tied for 29th (+2, 142). He made birdies on the par-4 10th and par-5 seventh holes and two bogeys.
Senior Devon Bling is tied for 41st (+4, 144) following a 3-over 73. He made a pair of birdies on the par-4 10th and par-4 fifth, adding a bogey and two doubles.
Juniors Kengo Aoshima and Bryan Wiyang Teoh are both tied for 57th (+6, 146). Aoshima shot a 1-over 71 on Friday, making three birdies on the par-4 11th and 15th holes and the par-5 first to go with four bogeys. Teoh posted a 2-over 72 on a pair of birdies on the par-5 16th and seventh holes and four bogeys. Sophomore Mason Greene is tied for 98th (+10, 150), shooting a 2-over 72 in his second round on four birdies on the par-4 second and 14th holes and par-3 fourth and 14th to go with six bogeys.
The Bruins' final round will begin at 1:20 p.m. off the 10th tee in the order of Greene, Aoshima, Teoh, Bling and Lai. Live scoring will be available here.
