Brooks Fail Leads the Way, Arizona Caps Off NCAA Championships
TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona Men's Swimming and Diving team wrapped up NCAA Championships Saturday evening in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The Wildcats were highlighted by Junior Brooks Fail, who broke the school record in the 1650 free with a time of 14:31.38, placing fourth overall. The previous school record in the 1650 free was also held by Fail, who put up a time of 14:37.60 at the Minnesota Invitational in 2019.

Fail also earned All-American honors in the 200 fly with a time of 1:41.82, placing eighth in the A final.
The Arizona men capped off their season with an All-American Honorable Mention in the 400 free relay, placing 10th with a time of 2:50.16.
Arizona concluded the 2021 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships with 106 total points, placing 12th overall. In 2019, Arizona placed 16th and moved up four spots this year to mark the program's highest finish at the NCAA Championships since 2014 when the men placed 7th with a total of 198.5 points.
