STANFORD, Calif. - The Bruins finished 16th at The Goodwin, completing play at the Stanford Golf Course on Saturday. UCLA shot an 8-over 288 in its final round to record a 54-hole total of 25-over 865.
Senior Eddy Lai was the top UCLA finisher, tying for 24th (+2, 212). He shot an even-par 70 on Saturday, making a pair of birdies on the par-5 first and par-3 fourth holes to go with two bogeys.
Senior Devon Bling tied for 46th (+6, 216), shooting a 2-over 72 on back-to-back birdies on the par-4 15th and par-5 16th holes and four bogeys. Redshirt junior Kengo Aoshima tied for 68th (+10, 220), recording a 4-over 74 in his final round on three birdies on the par-4 13th, par-3 14th and par-5 first holes, five bogeys and a double. Junior Bryan Wiyang Teoh and sophomore Mason Greene both tied for 82nd (+12, 222). Greene shot a 2-over 72 on Saturday, notching four birdies on the par-5 first, par-4 11th and par-3 eighth and 17th holes to go with four bogeys and a double. Teoh posted a 6-over 76 on three birdies on the par-5 first and seventh holes and par-3 fourth, adding nine bogeys.
The next tournament for the Bruins will be the Wyoming Cowboy Classic (April 5-6) at the Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz.
