USC's Alexei Sancov Reaches Consolation Final To Wrap Up NCAA Swim and Dive Championships

Junior Alexei Sancov earned a spot in the consolation final of the 200y fly to highlight USC's final evening at the 2021 NCAA Men's Swim and Dive Championships on Saturday (March 27) in Greensboro, N.C. 
 
During prelims, Sancov posted a 1:42.09 for 12th, to earn a spot in the consolation final. He then returned to finish third in the B final in 1:41.90. 
 
Senior Nikola Miljenic represented Troy in the 100y free, posting a 43.22 to finish 37th. 
 
For the third straight day, George Korovin represented USC in the diving well, finishing 22nd on platform with 311.00. 
 
USC wrapped up the final evening of competition with an 18th place finish in the 400y free relay, as Miljenic, Sancov, Max Saunders and Billy Cruz Zuniga touched in 2:51.79 for Troy.   
 
The Trojans finished 27th overall, with a total of 21 points. Winning the championship title was Texas with 595 points.
