Women's Tennis Puts Up Dominant Performance at Home

TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona took down New Mexico State University with a score of 6-1 at LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.

The Cats were dominant in doubles, putting up two sweeps to clinch the point. The momentum carried into singles where Khim Iglupas blew through her opponent in straight sets. Abby Amos also took down her opponent in straight sets and Gitte Heynemans won the first set before her opponent retired. Talya Zandberg went down in the first set, but stormed back to grab the win in a tiebreaker third set.

Arizona will take on NMSU again on Tuesday, Mar. 30 at 10 am MST.
